Raising with KQ can be good, but only in late position. This should be a fold pf. |

haha true dat. I understand the general crapiness of 6$ players though, and why you might call. I play these 6$ STT's alot, and 98% of decisions are cut and dried. If i had a hand like AQ there I might get into trouble though, calling them down with it. But, whenever i have doubts, I look them up with the PS "find a player". If they are multi-tabling, i respect their raise and get away from it quickly. Because, obviously, they play higher buy-ins and are just re-building their BR. But if they are only on one, they get alot less respect from me.
Of course warning bells should be going off, and this isnt a time to play for a big pot. I try and play as cheaply as possible here.
But again, 98% of decicisions at this buy-in are automatic. Its quite rare i get into situations like that. And as anyone will tell you, its just bad business to get involved with marginal hands on level one. |

Alot of people are disagreing with the PF raise, but this is level one of a 6$ STT. Until the blinds are 25/50 i love to raise KQ from early position. AQ AK QQ KK AA will re-raise you everytime, so just fold. But 75% of the time, you will get flat called by JK TK TQ. Just start of cheap and know when your beat. Its not hard. Ive never gone broke with KQ this way (except to a beat here and there).
I get paid off with KQ at this buy-in and these blinds ALL the time. |
