I guess you want to lure him in with this flop, but with your all-in you seem to want to protect your hand. A 3raise would have better chances of him calling it wouldn't it?

This is my truth tell me yours!

Ya you're pretty deepstacked.

Raising to 50 would be better, vs shortstack it's push obv.

but the thing is this hand loses value heavily on the turn (obviously) if it doesnt improve. so if he has me beat on the flop isnt it better to get the chips in while i have the highest chance to win it? dunno, discuss pls.

if he has you beat he isn't flatcalling a raise with flushdraw on there

what the hell does that mean, "this hand loses value on the turn"? you realize that you are getting value from nothing you have beat and only getting called by a set or 46 when you push here, so i don't see the point. you're afraid of getting pot committed on the turn when you reraise to 50, but you're an underdog on the flop anyway to these hands so your point is moot

Yeah it's not about getting value here, because you don't have a made monster.. getting a fold isn't bad either. By raising to 50 you put the pressure on him.

You only have TPTK on the flop. Like PITF said, you're behind a set here, thus no reason to push. If he pushes, you can call (probably having the best hand). If he flatcalls, you probably already have the best hand, and when the flush doesn't hit on the turn, you can probably do a little pot control/deception by checking.

thats a (typing) mistake actually, i wanted to say "loses strength".

and i am not underdog to 46 here afaik.
but otherwise thanks for advice, it helped me, i like ur analyses pokerintheface.

anyway, what i do if i get called and turn does not help me? check-push? open push? fold?

is it actually probable to get a call with him having me beat? (i mean what percentage of people on NL100 calls me here with a better hand?)

any draw, notice the 46c and the minraise

its also very possible he has a hand that you're not getting any value out of either way, like 77-JJ

your hand is also of enough strength that i really wouldn't mind if he flatcalls the reraise and push any turn (100 into ~150)

i'd make it like 65~70 on the flop, and then shove the turn regaurdless of the card.

ur a towel
