Reraise harder preflop and bet more than 1/2 the pot on every street, OBV you won the pot this time, but this is a really bad spot for AK. I don't think this a +EV play long term. |

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same | |

Awfully played on ALL streets, even preflop.
re-raise preflop like a man, on a 4 way flop bet over 3/4 of the pot, on the turn you bet 1/4 of the pot! WTF ! bet the turn much more |

i guess i just get nervous when 3 other ppl in the pot all flat call my flop bet (i'm in first position). Then they all flat called again - and very quickly i might add - i always suspect someone has a set and is slow playing - but is that me just being a pussy or?? should i worry about that in this situation? |

this is really a very common problem among low limit players, they're scared of betting a lot of money because most low limit players underbet almost always so it seems really out of place and scary, but you need to get used to it to be a decent player. betting $9 into a $12 pot is rare at NL25 even with top set, but thats how you should be betting with TPTK here |

on a 4 way pot TPTK might not be good however, bet the flop properly and you wont be so lost in the hand, if more than 2 people call your hard bet on the flop i would check and consider folding to a strong bet, if only 1 calls its safer to go to showdown but its obviously read dependant.
However if you keep betting weak you will keep junk hands drawing you and also you have no idea where you are at.
BTW give no respect at all to short stacks, if he pushes the turn call a shot stacks you only have to be concerned about full stacks |
