What is wrong with just shoving PF? Wouldn't you do that with AK? |

When your 4 bet in this spot for a stack size you can safely shove and get called 90% of the time, I think thats the best play.
As played, you kinda have to bet somewhere as he's never checking a better hand to you on the river, and you might as well just shove the turn if ur not gonna bet when checked to on the river. |

let me elaborate a little (not very much cos it's not worth it so this isn't in depth sorry),
AK is most likely the most 4bet hand in hold'em imo. 5 bet minraise him, he calls then flop 742 he can get away, equally JJ can get away on a Q74 flop AQ can fold preflop, ur basically telling him you have AA if you minraise preflop.
And thats in a vacuum it's still not the best play.
What about when you don't have AA in this spot ur never minraising with a JTs you 3bet or a JJ or w/e, or you shouldn't cos it's retarted.
Shove preflop is the best play, although normally (80%+) it doesn't matter too much you can call and generally get it allin on the flop and be ahead.
shove>call>miniraise imo |

minraise pf is great when you're facing an idiot 70bb donk so you can get him to commit half his stack. |
