You may have gotten over setted, but your play is horrible.
Why are you leading out? why are you check min raising turn? id be very surprised if you can answer either of those questions with a logical explanation and thought process behind it.
Even your bet on the river is horrible. |

didn't mean to lead out, it was a brain fart, just hadn't seen a hand all day and got too excited I guess, I realize my play after that was bad, that's why I posted the hand, so I can get better. I was checking the turn in hopes of a bet from canibuseed, I didn't think he'd call more than a min raise though. On the river I figured if I bet bigger than $3 that he'd fold because I check raised the turn. Yeah, i know, it's probably retarded, but that's what I was thinking at the time... |

See here is the problem, once u bet out the flop. Your A. bluffing B. betting out something weak like 8T or 45. or C. you have a really strong hand. Now if you continue and bet the turn you could still logically have A. or C. But when you check raise the turn like that your hand is instantly seen as C. And it becomes very very easy for anyone decent to fold.
Also check min raising is a horrible play. you want to always raise more then that. Ok I'm to lazy to explain more. |
