Ok dude, here is the deal. You may make SOME money off this guy if you bet little like that if he doesn't have anything. But very infrequently will you make this much. What you need to focus on is those times that he DOES have something. Say he has A-9, if he had A-9 did you get fully paid? No you didn't. Make sure you get fuly paid if he's got something. |

yeah.. again, i didnt want to scare him away from that flop, but i didnt want to check it, either...in hindsight it was a little dumb to bet .75, but what is proper bet to keep a J K in the hand at that point? |

A proper bet is one that gets action from AQ or lower or a draw if there is one.
A good line here is to bet strong on the flop, atleast 2 dollars, and then either fire the turn or checkraise the turn if you want to be fancy and make him think you were bluffing at the flop. |
