I think you should raise more preflop, you didnt even 3x his raise, I think a raise to 20-25 or more would be optimal, maybe even more if he is willing. It increases the size of your flop betting meaning more $$$$$ for ya. Also its deepstacked so he might even call more for set odds, you dont want him having good set odds yknow? |

Naa I don't agree with that, with only 1 to call behind me, and him only raising 3x BB, I don't see a reason to push it that much, he could have easily AJ, KQ, AT, or something a lot worse. |

...what?
You have Kings, how can you not be building a bigger pot preflop. You should be raising the maximum he is willing to call and I find it hard to believe that 10 is the maximum even if he only has AJ or something. Alot of the time he is going to have a strong hand raising utg like that even if its just 3xBB and at 6max, maybe he is LAG or something but still.. Dont give him a cheap flop, especially since he has position on you. with stacks that deep hes going to call a re-raise with alot of hands. You want MONEY. You could have gotten way more off him here, especially since the turn killed your action you want as much in as possible preflop/flop. |

I think its worth it to raise more if you get called by AK, JJ, QQ rather than trying to keep A10 or some suited connector in. This is the 2nd nuts preflop and at 6max its even stronger...you want to isolate other strong hands to get paid off big. |

Of course I want money, but I also want a call, I would never ever raise 3x BB with QQ. I've played 6-handed a lot now and making very good money, I don't need your advices on this one, sorry.
Sometimes you could be right, but mainly I must say raising 6 to 16 is a big raise pf here and very very often people fold to that already, I don't see a mistake here. |
