Should I just call on the turn and hope he hits something?

raising 99 from the sb is a very marginal play, but one that we all make from time to time. I would lead the flop a little stronger to build a larger pot and to make them pay to try to outdraw this hand. probably around $1-$1.30.

I continue to lead on the turn, there would be roughly $3.60-$4 in the pot, i lead around $2 since he started the hand with 6.50 and is already committed $1.40. This leaves him $3.10 left, a price he has to get it in if he hits ANYTHING on the river. This bet will also make him think he has FE (fold equity) vs your range and you can get a push from many strong draws given his stack size

Just remember you need to be god damn sure about their tendencies. -Artanis11 http://www.pocketfives.com/profiles/neillyaa/
