Villian is quite agressive laggy
and tries to bluff people out of potts a lot .

He 3 bet me preflop several Times in less than 50 hands.
He always C-bets when checked to him and he is generally a thinking player who is aregular at this stakes
but he tends to always do fancy stuff .

My original plan before turn appeard

flop : check / call
Turn lead 3/4 potsize on any not too bad turn to put him of the hand pretending to have hit a set knowing he is weak here most of the time or has air

then i hit my set on turn.

my thoughts :

he will 3 barrel me a lot even with air when i check turn
If i 3 bet turn he will fold 90% since he is so laggy he is most likley weak here.
if i just call he will do a 3rd barrel 90% of the time and i can get more value

River :
Actually i thought this was a dream river for me >_<
Since he is so fancy and at the same time a thinking player ( not a good one but he at least thinks about board textures ^^) i was pretty sure he would call an all-in shove here always
thinking i will bluff the Flush most of the time and his range is still good

I see myself ahead here vs a big range of hands from him that will call !
like 64 97 96 9T - 9A also JJ or TT

i dont like turn call at all, its a very drawy board
"if i just call he will do a 3rd barrel 90% of the time and i can get more value" well if you think this is true why do you bet the river? the river is a huge scarecard and the perfect card to let him bluff if he has absaloute air.
i would say push turn.

This ofc is horrible vs a normal player with no reads.

But this guy has done fancy stuff in all hands he was involved.
Which i think changes things a lot.

Well if i push turn i will win the pot right there which is not really
any method of value extraction.
therefore i didnt.

if u know u have the best hand do we wanna get people to insta fold
i guess not.
