Is there a right answer?

I mean if you look at the results of the hand then its a bad push, but in the longrun, I really dont know. This could be a good push sometimes but you are probably only getting called when you are beat - that doesnt make it a bad push necessarily though if you arent beat that often. Its a pretty scary board.

check call the river...

if you always go in with the worst hand youll never have a bad beat story

bah but what can I do... i can check behind then prolly fold river and if i fire another 20 he moves in im too committed on the turn, diamonds arent probably outs since i have him on Ad10 or Jd10, the fish limped with tens...bleh

no offense but that's weak as shit.... I would play it like you did but check call the river, maybe if he goes all in and was a tight player I'd fold but playing any weaker is a losing strategy... you're supposed to lose some hands. And the river check call will limit your losses because he probably wont go all in after your check

if you always go in with the worst hand youll never have a bad beat story

How could you play it like he did and check/call the river? He pushed the turn...

Donald   United States. Jun 26 2006 17:28. Posts 1289

oh wait. I thought the K came on the river didn't realize you got it in on the turn in which case I think you played 100% correctly, the all in makes you look like the K didn't help you so TJ or TA might call and hands that have you beaten will stack you anyway cause you have to value bet so just go all in so that you don't have any negative freeroll

if you always go in with the worst hand youll never have a bad beat story
