well basically its only 4 handed.. so most of the time any pair is good to see the flop and then decide what to do, so i would definately see a flop in this situation. 6 handed is more tricky and i tend to only set mine maybe 20% of the time. however if i know the person 3betting preflop is a nit and only does so with huge pairs then i wouldnt see the flop.
also its best to call the 3bet with position then u have more chance of winning the pot postflop.
always see the flop once uve got 200bb each.

i dont know any numbers of any shit cos i play without stats and play a feel game so

I think if you're just playing for sets taking nothing else into to consideration, it's slightly -ev unless they stack off everytime (which is rare).

I think there's a thread about it somewhere in the old searcharoo.

Just call a re-raise every time both you and your opponent have a remaining stack of 15 x the amount that you have to call to see the flop. This rule is very general, but it's better than nothing.

This is not true imo. Whats the point of a hitting a set if you are not going to stack the villain? You can waste alot of money calling 3 bets and losing pots post flop

Think you have to make a plan preflop as to whether you are calling to setmine or calling to play for it pair value on good flops. It can be a profitable set mine (just) vs a nit who can't fold AA
