I was pretty sure that even though he bet on the river that he still never had me beat, but since it was a limped pot and he was in the bb he could have had just about anything so i just called instead of raising. I'm not really sure this was the best play, (especially considering I think he would have called another good raise), do you think i played it too careful? |

What do you mean? I don't mind criticism, thats why i post these types of hands, but i would appreciate it if you were a little clearer as to what you think i should have done differently. |

i gues he means u shouldnt call these hands preflop.
which offcourse u shouldnt. 3 5 suited is a bad starting hand even worse when u r the first one 2 act |

Yeah, it is true that it was a weak starting hand, but I never played it to win money. It is true that I won the pot, but I know that by playing this hand over and over, I would most likely show a small loss from the majority of times when I miss the flop and have to throw it away. But the reason I played it was for deception, first off when I do hit something, its hard to put me on, so I make up for most of the money lost playing hands like this ( I don't play every hand like this that I am dealt, just when the situation looks right) by getting decent action when I flop something. Also whenever I end up having to show a hand like this, people automatically assume I will play anything, so I get more action on my good hands. |
