wait where did i whine about 0.8%? i dont even know how much ahead you are of a higher flush draw compared to top pair, all i know is that it fares better against a flush draw and you were giving obviously incorrect information and i chastised you on it, calm down |

wtf ?
he's got pair+fd. If you know opponent has a higher FD or top pair with no FD, you know you have roughly 50% to win, and it's a big mistake to fold here, precisely a $118 mistake. |

and congratulations to catyoul for repeating everything both me and pokerintheface already agreed on.
where you get the $118 from is a mystery to me tho
since he can only win $103 (doubling + the call of raise from guy #3)
edit: probably some advanced shit I don't understamd
and poker. It's just ranting. relax. The people who doesn't see how stupid the thing I said was without asking someone else why it's stupid doesn't benefit from any sort of advice anyway.

There were only 5 posts when I typed my reply.
Sorry it was actually $53 :
13+10+30+65 = $118 = effective pot when you have to decide on your $65 call/fold
Half the time you put $65 and win $118+$65 for a net win of $118
Half the time you put $65 and win nothing for a net loss of $65
Average win = $118-$53 = $53 |
