Preflop is a fold for sure, KTo is a realllly bad hand from UTG. It's one of those hands that looks prettier to new players than it really is. If everyone folds to you and you are on the button or the cut-off, you can raise. On t he turn you should just call. When you raise, it shouldn't be a minraise for starters but why are you raising? You have showdown value (ie top pair) but if you raise you won't get value from that much and if he raises you then wtf? Just call and if he checks the river, bet.
You should have a reason behind the raise generally, like are you bluffing, do you think he has a lot of worse hands he can call with, are you protecting your hand vs a lot of possible bad cards (flushes, straights, overcards)? In this case none of them apply so just call. |

Busted for the NL25 lol. I was playing NL10 for 10+ hours (hard core grinding) and the small pots were starting to frustrate me. I figured I got a small feel for things so I took a poke at NL25. It's been going well so far The moment I start losing money I'm back to NL10 or I might try the fixed limits too (I find the fixed limit games involve less strategy and you don't have shoving power). |

At low leves very little profit comes from bluffing. Limit might be more robotic, I'm not really a limit player, but it requires a slightly different skillset =p |
