Did i played it well, i've always wondered if you hit a set on flop you should check, or raise? i waited for the river, because someon could be in a flush draw? was that right, or i should have re-raised on flop? |

Raise the flop harder. It's a disaster for you with 5 ppl calling. Bet/raise the turn hard and see how they react. You left yourself very open to be outdrawn by a flush/straight with your play. |

You neither could have played that hand anymore worse nor gotten any luckier on the river. Raise preflop with JJ, Pot size or more bet on flop and allin on turn............stop this girly-man bullshit calling. |

I have learned from poker that being at the table is not a grind, the grind is living and poker is how I pass the time | Last edit: 06/01/2006 23:38 |

Reraise turn, you WANT the flush draws etc to pay for drawing, you don't want to let them see the cards for free and then bet since if they miss, you won't get a call from them and if they hit, you're screwed. By raising earlier, you force them to put money in the pot when you're the favourite to win the hand. |
