Did I play this the wrong way just calling it? I guess I didn't have a good enough read to know for sure if this kid had a 7 or not and I was kind of scared of a straight. Let me know if you guys think I should have done something differently.

i think it was good cause board was getting veeery bad, someone could have easily had a straight there. so yea well played *i think* i would have folded if he raised to 1 or 2 $ on the river.

omg that was horrible to be honest with you

raise more preflop
bet more at flop, minbet SUCKS

really? ;S i think its hard to get calls if u raise more at preflop with bullets. and at flop someone could had straight already.

it is fixed limit, i didnt see it.

at NL of course u have to raise more, i would make it 4x BB at least. u have to get ppl out of the pot, AA works best vs few opponents.

Yea, I would have definitely raised slightly more if it was NL now that you mention it, but I should have made it clear these are limit games that I post for now. Seems like theres a little confusion for those that don't notice the heading since so many NL games are posted. My bad.

Reraise turn, call down if you get 3-bet, this line isn't probably too bad either since these schmucks often have the straight or two pair. I guess my mentality comes from 6-max limit for this one, but getting in those valuebets at right times is pretty important. He'd probably fold this to turn reraise here (notice how he's drawing to 2 outs, 4 for a draw)

yeah, you can play it your way or reraise turn. I like the way you played it better though b/c if you reraise and he calls and has you beat you lose an extra bet if he bets out on river, or although most players aren't capable of this at that level he could go for check raise on river if you squeeze in another value bet. If you reraise and he raises back you are most likely beat b/c most players are pretty passive and would not bluff in this spot at that level and you would still have to call down.

So in conclusion, in a hu pot w/ this scary of a board on .25/.5 barring no reads i think you played it perfect
