I thought AK is a bad allin hand since it doesn't like flops too much?

its not great, but its usually like 43% vs 57%, which is close enough to a flip

so when u raise them all in, sometimes they fold and sometimes they call and u win 43/100 times

so if they called every single time u'd lose a little, but since they fold sometimes its a profit making play

and also sometimes u'll be up against AQ or any other non-pair hand in which case ur in good shape
