Posts 8665 i love his river bet against the right sort of player, im a big fan of strong superthin value bets that rape bluff-catcher hands. most people just bet strong with either a monster or a bluff, to be able to find good spots to do it with a medium strength hand to target a bluff catcher is a very high level play. plus he might even fold out QQ and maaybe AA/KK with his river bet sometimes, its a bet that just puts the other guy in a tough spot and can encourage mistakes that go either way (he could call with a worse or fold a better). given turn and action and hero's river check villain knows 100% hero doesnt have trip J or house, which is why i think villain's river bet is very good.
