If he has a flush here 100% of time,you need to call 88 for a pot of 193, so you're getting 2.2 to 1 on a call, so you're not getting the correct immediate odds to fill up. That aside, in the moment, I would probably rationalize that he will show up enough with hands like KQ or KJ with the Q or J of diamonds which picked a FD on turn and decided to get frisky, or sometimes, albeit vary rarely, a pure bluff to make this call EV neutral or slightly +EV. Then, I would end up going with the following rationale :"The hell with it, i flopped a set, so I call" :-) |
