How coudl u possibly fold the flop to a pussy bet like that. I'd raise bigger on the flop personally. |

5 players to the flop, non pf raiser bets out first, i like the raise. turn is HU and opponent bets weakly into a blank, i would push here.
i think the most likely holding here is 6s7s, if your opponent had a set, he would most likely check-raise or reraise. if he had TP on that board, the play might remain similar, but he wouldn't bet a measly 4$ when that 2h falls on the turn. the weak turn bet is definitely a sign of a poor semi-bluff and a drawing hand. main reason why pushing on the turn with your overpair would be the best option. i would find it hard to fold on the river, save that it is possible your opponent may have held 6h7h, but i would almost advocate a call here because it's very unlikely your opponent is playing a T in this hand. |

4$ bet on turn deserves a big raise here, and flop call also ;D |

this is $50nl, this is still a newbie limit were people play bullshit hands against raises. You should have a read on Mangelnsson before this hand whether he plays random or solid or is complete newbie. From Mangelnsson betting he is complete newbie and what he was holding was most likely J10, Q10, K10 or A10 or PP that hit board. If he is the newbie player, as his betting suggests, he has a pair of 10's. You lost this hand not from bad turn call alone or unlucky river but because 5 people called preflop, too many people in the pot. If you reraise flop which pushed everyone on a draw out than you are left with top pairs or sets. If you think pair then where was raise on turn? If you think set why are you still calling? This guy looked completely newbie hence his $10 probably was 3's ($5->$4->$10. Sounds like kicker issue betting). Either way, this is $50nl + 5 callers to a $2 raise = anything is possible = grind, grind, grind. These shitty hands happen and that is why with 5 callers it is easier to fold flop unless you want to risk all your chips and play aggressive. You should have either raised every bet and called river or folded on flop. |
