Ok.. So on turn, bet or check? I was worried that a) the 9 is like a really bad card since it's a common card to play together with a 9, but yeah he was in BB so this is a bad concern b) I'm not sure what worse hand he calls 2 streets with .

Feels silly when he turns over 88 tho

Bejamin1   Canada. Jul 24 2008 13:27. Posts 7042 You took the best possible line I think, if you keep betting into him he's going to figure out you have 10xxx drawing to/already having a made house. The reality is you were just unlucky in this hand, normally any competent player including myself would just raise you up and get AI on this flop with 88xx assuming they were a 60/40 favorite vs. your 10xxx re-draw to a house.
