Because on the flop you only fold out hands worse than yours. I think its highly unlikely that he's folding what, 88s or better?
On the turn your equity does improve, but theres a difference between you bet/commit compared to calling an all in because if you're the aggressor, you get the added $ from times when he folds his marginal overpair thinking maybe you somehow got there or he wimps out etc. etc.
Also, on turn there are times where he can be on two clubs, further decreasing your equity. The thing is, against his 56 hand, your play doesn't look too atrociously bad. But if he had what, AQcc (not out of the question?) or AcAx, 56cc, 89cc, etc. what does the math look like then?
btw I hardly think raising flop against UTG1 is +EV, but I dont exactly play FR so I won't focus too much on that. Long story short, I hate just about everything you did in this hand from flatting preflop, bluff raising flop and calling turn jam |
