Info:
Utg limper is a loose passive 40%vpip.
Utg+1 raiser is a nitty tag at 10% pfr over 50.
My image is looser-than-average tag.

Obv not sure...but I don't really think I made any mistakes here. PF is speculative... Utg+1's range is all PPs, AJ+? Is that an auto-raise for AKs? I think flatting can be similarly profitable because they usually can't give up less than a cbet if you spike an A or K.

Flop: one could argue for raising, but I have no reason to believe I'm ahead against what is probably a random pair from the nit, and I probably dominate UTG while he gives me odds. Halfpot 3way on this flop doesn't mean a betfold from the nit, sometimes they'll call with a decent 2nd pair.

No other way to play turn...once they both check I know I have FE. UTG gets there on river, we're out, right?

hmm alright im by no means great but i'll try my best at explaining what i'd do this hand, even though i play FR but hopefully some of its relevent here too =)

first of all this isnt a big deal but normally you would just call the guy who raises the "UTG" and the guy who called the BB for the rest of the hand

preflop, you want to 3 bet. its hard to explain, i dont even know the full reason myself, but a wise man once said you should always 3 bet AK preflop, and take it from there. so even if someone is a huge nit, 3bet and if they call proceed with caution. if they re-raise and they are super tight then fold for sure. if they are a standard aggro guy, then 4bet/shove/call shove since AK is so good against everything, its neutral EV vs QQ and worse and its +EV vs PPs.

anyway, its alright to flat call as well, more so against aggressive opponents, the type likely to fire 2 barrel bluffs etc. so that when u spike an A or K on the flop u get 2 streets value and still possibly stack a lower kicker hand like AQ KQ.

this flop isnt brilliant for AK but not bad either, it depends on what you think ur opponents have here. but basically as a standard you can weigh up how your hand fares here against a Qx hand like KQ or AQ. You have 4 aces/kings as outs, as well as 4 jacks. and the back door flush which is like equivalent to one more out. so basically 9 outs, possibly 13 outs if neither person has one of these cards.

so if for example all ur outs are clean and u have 13 outs here ur about 52% of winning on flop so u want to be throwing them around and shoving etc. if 4 outs arent clean then i think its significantly less, more like 33% or so. thats the easiest way to play these kind of hands here.

of course this all changes if u think he has a hand like AA, in which case u can only save ur ass if a non-club J hits (if u think someone might have a flush draw). that would be bad and so if u thought that was likely then its probably better to flat for the possible implied odds or just to fold flop.

anyway on the flop the donkey limp calls, which shows that hes at least semi-interested in his hand. either a queen or a draw. so on the turn when a good card hits that gives u a bazillion more outs i dont see much point in betting since his stack size is so awkward that he's basically committed anyway. and theres nothing to protect from since ur the one trying to hit ur hand, any jack or spade or K or A. and chances are u'll get paid off if u do hit.

from the way this hand panned out it appears that this guy had a club draw but see if u miss river its going to be hard to even make him fold a draw, if he's picked up any pair he's surely calling with only half a stack left compared to pot, so i dunno but i would just check behind turn and try and hit our monster hand which will be disguised (backdoor flush, straights always hard to pick, or overcards hitting) and probably will get value out of one of them on river.

hm.
Your point about the LAP showing interest in the hand is true..I generally assume them to be on a no-pair type draw, but a random T/Q/mid-lowpp may look me up depending on the level of distrust this player has towards me.

I guess I'll pay more attention and look for better spots to steal pots. -p
