In a little over a week, I am moving from Everett, WA back to my hometown of Minot, ND.
My friend and I are forming a company. We’re getting into investing in real estate. What we initially buy depends on whether or not we get more investors (ie his dad) into our business. However, if it is just us two, we’re going to start off buy either buying a single family home or a duplex. We’re then going to rent the unit out and use their rent to pay our mortgage. We’re going to reinvest aggressively for over the next 20 years and hopefully become millionaires through our real estate company.
This is all going down within the next month which is the same month I’m moving home.
I’m also on a nice 3000$ downswing.
I will be investing close to 70% of my cash into our business which is pretty scary. Ever since I quit my job last January, I’ve had enough money to live for two years. I won’t have that security anymore.
Between my company, new apartment, furniture, new vehicle, I’ll be close to busto in real life. I’m really starting to feel the pressure to win in poker. I would say I feel this now more than ever.
The good news is I do have a job waiting for me when I move back. I’ll be dealing blackjack at a local bar a few nights a week. Hopefully, I’ll make enough to pay my rent and that’ll relieve some pressure. But, the next few months will be interesting for sure.
Also, if anyone knows anything about investing in real estate, forming llcs, or have any general advice for me, feel free to pm me or leave a comment. While we’re doing as much research as we can, It’d always be nice to get advice from people in the know, or have actually done it before.
Gl everyone,
billy
