dont c/r
why are you c/ring , for what purpose
whats TILTDIAVOLOs stats
if hes a terrible player like 21/8 or something bad like that, then just bet for value because hes probably calling with any 5, 99+, K7, a lot of shit that u beat
when u c/r you pretty much turn your hand face up and say "I AT LEAST got a king here" hes going to fold the majority of his range , maybe even some weak kings....like K6 or whatever
i don't mind checking the turn against a thinking player.
but we check/call not c/r.
if we call the bet, then pot will be $131 and he has only $52 left. then we can donk all in on river because then it looks like we have a FD or like a 4 or something and missed our draw. but even that wont get called much because its still kinda obvious we probably have a king. but against a kinda bad/spewy player, hell call here looking to bluff catch on the river.
One thing you have to realize when check/calling the turn is that the board is drawy now. 532, 2 spades is pretty drawy. So when you check, and call, you gotta think what your opponent puts you on. He'll probably think you either have a king or 4 or a flush draw. Only things that make sense. So on the river, we know it's unlikely he has a draw, since he called the flop which really had no draw other than 64. so he must either have a king, some middle pp (like 99 is possible), or something like A5. so donking river looks to be okay especially against a low caliber player who doesn't know poker well and will call river with one pair thinking that your play makes no sense.
also donking river is river dependant. you don't donk ALL cards all in obviously. Any Ace or 4 pretty much restrains you from any further betting because then you will only get called by better and he will only bet better. So i would c/f either of those river cards. but any other river, donking river all in looks fine.
This all takes consideration that he is only a half stack, we would probably play the whole hand a bit differently if he was a fullstack.
i can say more about this hand but have to go to class
one thing i would like to note about this hand is even though the turn is drawy and usually we would always bet for protection on drawy boards, this situation is a bit different. he called on the FLOP which WASN'T drawy. so we can refrain with betting the turn (which would unveil our hand pretty much) and check/call because now we're representing something weaker than a king. And on this board, he's probably going to put you on some kind of draw. If he checks behind turn, you can properly value bet almost all rivers.
