I'm not so sure about that. What should he bet? Half the pot and the fold? |

Preflop reraise should've been at least $16 imo
If you did that you'd either have won it there, or had a $38+ pot to contest in which case he's much more likely to fold to your pot-sized flop bet. When I have high pockets overpair, I haaaate letting people see fourth street without being all-in, and I'm pretty sure that's generally good policy, avoid fourth if you can.
If you get to fourth street from there and an ace comes, check/folding is almost the only option in my book
Against fish, what you have to fear the most is check/calls on flop and turn with little drawing possibility. This is what random fish do with sets out of position: Check, Call... Check, Call... Bet
Not only is the idiot exhibiting all of the tell-tale signs of a flopped hand that beats any pair, but there's also an overcard on the board to your one pair. Lady Luck could not have given you better reason to fold imo |

Preflop raise was fine, he got it heads up. He also got the idiot to make the mistake by calling on the flop. Villain just got lucky in this hand.
River is a clear fold though. |
