A couple of points about this hand...
1. The turn check was in for two reasons
a) To maybe induce a bluff
b) To represent weakness

2. By his flop call I figured he probably has a J or flushdraw. If I bet out hard on the turn, he probably will fold. Betting little would be fishy too. If he has the king, he'll probably bet here or reraise river, so I will eventually get everything in. If he catches his flush, I'll probably get value as well.

So I think checking the turn is better play here than betting out. What do you think?

Seems fine. I would mix in an overbet on the river sometimes in cases like this. Amazing the calls you will get to "keep you honest."
