Your push on the turn had negative expectation. Did you just forget to look at his stack and see that you had 0 fold equity? Did you think a 6 or a 5 on the river would win it? Did you think he'd really fold rather than drop in $34.50 more? Or what? |

A flat would lose money, too.
When he comes to the turn he has a choice: He can fire the second bullet hoping for a fold and abandon all hope of getting good enough odds to go to a showdown, or he can take the free card to his draw. He's a strong player but anything other than a check on the turn is sub-optimal, I have to assume he was tilting unless I'm missing something. |
