lets see, he bets small on turn then min raises a decent raise and value bets river, id push or reraise huge.
seems like a set. |

Raise to ~200 sounds good, can't think a way to make more value, unless if he has a set and is newbplaying it now, then all-in would be nice, but this doesn't look like it to me though :o |

i don't think i could have gotten any more value from this but just wondering what the best line was.. he folded instantly when i shoved, maybe missed a draw or something ~_~ |

Nah, he was just pathetically trying to represent a J, they do that very often.
Well, that's my opinion atleast, seen that very same play several times before =/ |

Does to me, either he has a set or a weak hand, eitherway he played it horribly. good player doesnt bet A8 99 QQ or almost anything on that river for value. And he donked the turn like an idiot with set.
So my point is if he is semi competent at all he is either bluffing or has a really strong hand since a weak one wouldnt value bet that river, so I think with that in mind 88 55 and maybe a straight pay you off so pushing might be a decent option.
Personally id have reraised turn get more value from a draw and gets him all in with a good hand without having to put so much in on the river. |

Minraise on river ain't bad either, if he really has something big then he WILL reraise you.
Done that often too, but when a real donkey only calls the minraise with a big hand... that is annoying =| Guess it's opponent read dependant at that point ;p
