I think you can play it even more aggressive. Since he is on a draw he probably would have called down most raises/bets on flop/turn too. And also calling the river because of the king. Feels like you could have extracted more value from this hand. |

result oriented post.
either way. I would bet flop bet turn and bet river. because the point with lag is being AGGRESSIVE since they can't put you on 45 |

i think i would check raise river if the dude is decently agressive
He either have a bluff or a hand worth betting. Hands he would check, he would fold to that 3$ bet(if hes aggro). |

bollucks is it a results orientated post. He has (practically) the nuts vs a guy who;s lead out on the flop and then lead out again on a high card turn. There is no other way to get large somes of money into this pot unless you raise the turn here, unless the flush htis on the river and he has it. You have to raise the turn (if not the flop, though i can see why not), as if no1 has a hand they aren't going to pay you off alot anyway, and if they do have a hand they are going to put more money into the pot. If you check-call turn and lead out on the river it;s likely something like AK (at these stacks QK/JK too most likely) will just flat call the river rather than raise, but will almost definately call a raise on the turn before calling a bet on the river because they aren;t going to want to fold their hand.
Results orientated bit: Liklehood here is that he will call a turn raise, as he has the fd and tpgk, and will probably call a river bet too cos of the stakes. |

whats the problem with check call turn, check raise river.
You allow flush to hit, maybe an ace high hand to catch an ace, allow bluff to give you one more bet, etc
its only bad if villian is passive enough to check a king on river |

Flush only htis 1/6 times, at these stakes everyplayer is going to call the raise if they have a flush draw (unkless its allin or seomthing crazy), so ur just losing value if the flush comes, as if they have the fd they will pay u off on turn and river anyway, if they didn;t have fd they;'re not gonna call ur river bet (theoretically) as one hand that ur really representing is a fd yourself with both check/calls, and at the same time if ur betting that river you do not seem scared of the flush, which obv you aren't, so you won;t get called unless by a donk (who in that case woulda called a turn raise too), or if someone has reads/randomly thinks you are bluffing. Also, if the fd doesn;t come on the river, you lsoe value by not extracting mroe from the drawing hand and letting him fold cheaply on the river |

if he hit his flush, i check raise all in and he pays me off anyways.
If he miss, he prolly bluff at river anyways
thing is if hes on total bluff, he might give me some more value on river
if he have decent hand, like right now, he might fold to a raise on turn but he would probably bet the river. I think hes more likely to call a check raise on river rather than on turn since pot be big and the line is weird.

thx for the replies, i did not want to bet the flop because most of the times they fold thinking u have a big hand. I think i could have raised the turn because he was on a obvious draw. Maybe check raising the river was better, but since i called everything he could have checked aswell, thinking i was slowplaying a trips. Overall i think i could have made more money with this hand. |
