I could've easily pulled in more value from this hand, but I was worried about the possibility of KK/AA based on flop play by opponents, even 55. Did I play too passively? :[

Rxd Rxxf   United States. Jan 14 2006 01:46. Posts 647 Yes, you played way too passively. AA/KK is out, you made it 3 and just got a bunch of calls. If somebody has AA/KK they need to make it 4 with that many callers, or else they are losing money. The guy with the KQ that bets into everybody on the turn is a lame attempt at representing a 5 I guess. I can't imagine somebody calling two cold on the flop with a 5, and if he had something along the line of A5, I go for a check raise with that many players that are being that agreesive. Still a nice little pot, but more could be extracted.
