neilly, read what i said please, and then respond

basically, since we're not all playing on 6max 1Knl, you dont see (this) player make this move with something like KxQd, or infact any sort of semibluff, this is 98% a solid hand that i am wb.

i read it rockman, but the facts that i see are this

you have overpair that isn't defined yet
you have nut redraw vs sets and vs flushes
you dominate any king
you get information on your opponent to properly play this against him next time

its not a bad fold, if i were 150bb deep or more i'd contemplate a fold much more often than here though

i mean fuck if you really think you have to fold this start playing shorthanded poker

rockman255   Canada. Nov 21 2008 02:45. Posts 4471

why do i shove this, explain to me why, in better words than neillys, because all i got out of his was that i dominate a king.

good fold rockman. Constantly getting in as a 35%-40% dog is what keep players from moving up.

its close i dont think either shoving or folding is that bad. Its just a margianl decision in the end. myslef i would have shove because i like to suckout

the main thing is, you have no clue what he has, your assuming a set which is highly unlikely, a flush is possible, and a NL50 player overplaying KQ or KJ with a d is highly likely imo

by making the call that we might be ahead, might be behind, we have a good chance to win, but most of all, we get information to play vs him correctly in the future

rockman its not as bad as i made it sound; it is fr at 2nd glance

handbanana21   United States. Nov 21 2008 02:54. Posts 3037

gotta understand how nitty FR is. Its a clear set or flopped flush by the squeezor. We only have 8 dollars invested. We dont have the proper odds to attempt to suckout. just pitch it and move on

No actually a set is extremely likely here. He is a nit and he called pre, and then he made a big reraise on a monotone flop. Nits don't call with KQo ever here.

Having said that, I like shoving because I like to gamble in these spots, but this looks like a good fold to me.

you will need to put in another 40$ into a 106$ which is 37%. You have around ~33% ev so you are behind a little but you do have a small Fold equity. ITs close guys. SHOVING OR FOLDING IS FINE

Ez fold if your not in the mood to gamble (as an underdog).

Tae (solid nit running 10/7) has either a flush or a set.

Don't worry Rockman I often find SH players advice on FR play pretty flawed iMO. They fail to realize the pure nittiness of the game.
