i stoved it to try to prove you wrong, but it looks like you made a really good fold

oops i did it wrong, you're exactly 50/50 against KK,88,89s,87s

88/KK+/AK/KQs? All are possible once you've checked back flop I think? Awesome fold if you had some read but I don't think I can find a fold here. It may be that 2 doesn't change anything for him but flip side is it shouldn't change anything for you in his mind either.....so his KQs etc still good?

His line just doesn't make sense. I think playing even KK or 88 (since that's what you put him on) here like this is very weird as well and I think that if you can include those in his range, he might get frisky with AA here all the same or maybe AKdd...

BrocheN   United States. Dec 03 2008 20:22. Posts 932

i think this is most likely KK

Exhilarate   United States. Dec 03 2008 20:31. Posts 5453

he's def not doing this with AA, he'd c-bet, and AK would c-bet as well.
i think playing 88 and KK here is the only thing possible

i dont think his line makes sense with any made hand, he checks flop, nobody bets, then he checkraises on a turncard that would be very unlikely to hit anyone. of course kk and 88 are possible, but they would be very badly played.

This is why I was thinking AA/AK were possible looking for a C/R on the flop, not getting one as checked back and C/R blank river? Doesn't make much sense either way.
