Lots of pot control going on and I'm wondering if I lost value (probably against this particular hand, yes). I check the river intending to call a shove (~450 left in my stack).
Villain is 95% raise pf (5% limp), 100% cbet 2/3 pot. Probably capable of thinking on level 2, 40% btn vpip with 10% raise, so not outside the norm there.
I think he's definitely capable of making big calls / big bluffs. Not so much big folds.
I've started 3betting him looser (15-30%) over 2 matches and he has responded by calling tight (hasn't called 1 3bet so far out of 8 or so). I think his range once the turn comes includes a lot of Ax, any 7, any 3, and all PPs I beat (I think he shoves 99+ but these are all assumptions). |
