sigh i might be better off folding flop, this person is a nit so after flop they are betting with better hands and checking with worse. Opinions in this situation vs nit since their range is quite polarized?

I'm not a HU pro but I'd raise or fold pre. as played flop call is fine and you can then give up on the turn if he keeps betting since he's a nit. it's funny cause you're using big fancy poker words but really have no clue what you're doing eh? =)
You're calling the flop cause you've got middle pair HU on an A high board and you've shown weakness, and now he's betting pot. That's a lot of reasons to think he could be bluffing. But since he's a nit he is very unlikely to bluff 2 streets so you can fold if he bets turn and check it down like you did if he doesn't bet and take a small pot, catching his bluff. River you could even make a small value bet sometimes. |
