I wasnt sure whether or not I played this hand correctly. I bet the flop and he called $20...which is massive, so I couldn'tve put him on AJ b/c he would logically put me on overpair with the preflop action. Therefore, I had to put him on JJ, 77, or 33. On the turn, he checks again, and in fear of getting checkraised, I checked as well. Now it doesnt matter that I got unlucky on the river...I was just wondering whether or not I should've checked the turn to get value out of perhaps AK diamonds or a similar hand, or should I check as well in case he does have a set so I don't get checkraised. At this table I was playing a very loose aggressive image which would explain the call w/ 56 (I guess...), and because if this, I would logically expect him to check the turn with a set expecting me to bet.
Thanks for your help everyone! |
