That's how strong it is and you should've bet more on the flop, consequently more on the turn. Given the way that you played this, you should have check-called (consider check-folding) the river in my opinion because there's two hands I can put him on and those are KJ and KQ. But you shouldn't have been in the situation on the river in the first place. $5 on a $9 pot sounds alright here, increase your bets on every street. 11 would have made it nearly allin and by then the river had been a no brainer for your last money.
