advice fwiw...unless board is paired, play a NFD on the flop like u would play a set or top two, it helps to balance out your range when you do have a set and you always have at least 25% equity and many times 44% equity if you arn't ahead and that's not even accounting for fold equity if/when you get them to fold hands that you are behind. |

yea, I usualy play this fast. However, this guy was playing pretty straightforward vs me, and since I opened UTG and he cold called, I was kind of worried of TT. His smallish raise on flop, somehow made me feel that he had a big hand and I wouldn't have much FE. If I called I hoped he would check behind AQ/KQ type of hands and I could see a river. If he fired again on turn and I didn't improve I would give up. |
