How can you be profitable and play like this? |

This will probably blow your mind Mr. Capaneo, but some people who play the game of poker are indeed not profitable. |

Obviously should have raised the river, but was the flop and turn play that bad? You were the preflop aggressor and he couldn't really rep that the 2 helped his hand on the turn. |

Think about what you just said. Try to explain why you think they are reasons for not raising the flop or turn. |

Against AK, it would certainly make sense for villain to raise up and get the money in, but he doesn't know capaneo has AK.
If I'm playing AJ or AQ, I'd bet flop turn river just like capaneo did. If I had AJ and got raised on the flop, I'd most likely call it and then fold to another bet on the turn. WIth AQ, I'd probably call a raise and a turn bet, but would fold the river to more aggression. With either AQ or AJ, villain would get more money off me by doing the rope-a-dope than being aggressive himself. If he had shoved river, he would have gotten my stack with AK in most cases. |
