This guy seems reggish and thus probably cbets a lot. I really wanted to raise here but I thought it would shut down all of his bluffs I could get value from on the turn. What should I do?

3bet preflop. cbet flop/shove over his reraise

Well first two things that come to mind are a) 3-bet pf and b) fold the river as played. Flop is def. a raise also, no reason he can't stack off with like 88-TT here.

or.. since you're not 3betting pre, fold flop?

since i'm assuming you're playing it for set value by not 3betting pre

/sarcasm off

i think 3 betting here is a mistake at 50nl without relevant hsitory. It's very rare that you're going to be excited getting it in preflop with JJ. I much prefer a flat - but if you flat and the flop comes likes this you do have to raise it.

I raise the flop here 100% of the time. It's all about putting him in awkward spots postflop. Because you didn't raise pre, he has way more mid pockets in his range. What's he going to do with 77 88 99 TT here? I raise flop rpetty biggish, probably to like 7-8. Get it in on the flop or if he flats, get it in on teh turn.

Genginho: lose today 100 dollar only because of fishs they called and had luck on river

wow. you have got to be kidding me. no reraise pre w/ jj? this is 6max man, not fr

you might be able to make some sort of an argument for fr, but not 6max

lol, you have to have JJ QQ KK AA i nyour button flatting range if you want any credibility to abuse it with air even at 6max.

I'm not saying don't 3bet it 100% of hte time, but i prefer to 3bet with air and establishing a history before i 3bet ahand strong like jacks because the first 3bet always gets respect

interesting. never thought of this before. i really gotta start incorporating a lot more 3bets IP into my game, and just balance it by not 3betting as much all the time.

that should seriously mind-fuck some opponents
