It was $7.90 to call a pot with nearly $20 in it. That's a shade more than 2:1 pot odds. If you put him on the flush, your odds of drawing that nut flush were about 14:45 or, 1:3 against at the flop. But instead you waited for the turn, which halved your odds, to about 1:6. If you thought he had a flush, you needed to throw your aces away. Although flat calling a 4xraise with suited connecters is wierd =S If you knew he was agressive and stupid enough to go in with anything suited, you should have backed off. Maybe he read the implied odds and knew he could get you good as long as he flopped a rediculous monster.
In anycase, if you suspected he had the flush, you made a mistake. |
