I don't really like betting the turn for several reasons. Mainly, it's very likely if anyone has a T here that they would be slow playing it at this point. Also, since the board is paired, we aren't even drawing to the nuts with our sd. The turn is bad for two main reasons as well. Now when we hit an 8 to make a straight, the board is a 4 card stragiht (T987), which would make our hand much more obvious and less likely to get paid off. Furthermore, the turn also brings a backdoor fd, which could potentially bring our outs down to 6.. especially if he held the Ac here as well. |
