this is uber standard, if you can't make this call you have no reason to play HU
hands also misplayed a little, but it is pretty nice, but not great at all.
ill break it down for u guys
villian raises OTB with a wide range at nl100 hu
J63 hits like 10% of his range, and he COULD have a pp, but doubtful
he leads, (bad play to lead oop in a raised pot) - calls the reraise because chance villian has Jx is slim, and same as overpair. he has 45 here just as often as a jack or air.
turn brings a King and he continues to fire strong, which would make me think he either has Kx or a combo draw or air, I still highly doubt he has a jack
river falls another jack, its fairly obv we don't have a jack by the way the hand is played (we could have J8-JT sometimes, but not too often and this is only for one buy-in)
So when it falls, we can be almost certain he does NOT have a hand with a jack in it, so why would he shove a king on the river when we are holding J8-JT fairly often? He wouldn't, which makes this an EASY call and these HOTW's are fucking terrible this week
oh well, atleast next week maybe you guys can get some good hands posted
Not to take it away from him, for most players this is a tough call, but for any experienced HU player, they better be able to make this call the majority of the time or they are wasting there time.
