drewk2525   United States. Feb 23 2009 14:21. Posts 34 i mean, i got exactly what i wanted here, just wanted to see if the way i played it is correct. Obviously i flopped a monster, he bet and i raised. I raised 3x which seemed pretty standard, and was looking to build up the pot. He reraised and i figured unless he actually has me beat, which i'm assuming not, he's probably folding a shove right here. Turn comes a king, so I bet it a little less than 1/2 hoping to look like the king is not a good card for me, and trying to also get him pot committed. Then obviously called his all in. Is there some other way i should have tried playing this?
