Wow really? I always thought you always call with ducks and simmilar, should I actually actively raise to restrict the pot?
I know I got good EV against almost anything but overpair but I also believed that more limopers=more profit when set hits

You're raising at this level so people can't put you squarely on a hand like that and to protect against people that try to squeeze preflop which puts you in a bad situation. When you open here, you get the betting lead and a raised pot making it more likely to get paid off when you do hit your set.
In limped pots you just don't get paid off a lot on your sets since there is no money in the pot, and you rarely win the pot when you don't hit a set.
