yea 4 is probably better on the flop.
I'm pretty sure 3bet only concerns preflop betting, in a spot like this you would want to look up his check raise % and his flop aggression factor %. 13/10 indicates a solid player, so he's probably never check raising here as a total bluff at this limit. I think the ranges you'll find include a 7, 2pair+, and *maybe* a slowplayed overpair. Getting checked raised in this spot sucks a lot b/c I think you'll be beat a lot of the time here, depending on the player. You ended up winning, but just be careful on spots like this. It's hard for me to really put what I'm thinking into words, but just don't get in the habit of going crazy when these situations come up. |
