could you put him on a set here? i mean i thought he was trying to steal pot or had a weak king or even AK played realy strange. I guess i could be wrong (in general, obviously in this case i was) for doing this, but i believed 100% it was a bluff :|

Seems like a really bad slow play waiting to go wrong, but never did.

oh well he said he woulda dropped hand if 5 or club came out

I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance, by running away from the scene of an accident.

ummm, that makes your play even worse

i would of bet .6 on the flop and gone from there

if he raises you can fold

if he calls you can check it down

if he bets on turn you can fold

if K hits on river you can bet like $1.20 and fold to a push

Sorry DooMeR.

The play was intended as a goof as I expected to not get paid for my set with that flop. Didn't expect your call but the way that table was playing, the pot seemed pretty easy to take and I figured I was best with Jas2k stats.

turn bet : 40 cents
river bet: $7.20
i would fold the river, the rule is when facing a gross overbet at low limits, they are almost never bluffing

Those who do not BELIEVE in krablar must CONCEDE to krablar.

bet the flop, bet the turn, check call or check fold on the river.

i guess the size of the pot vs the actual bet shoulda dictated my decision, i was kinda impulsive when i called :|

u dont have to apologize for the way u played a hand. I posted because of the discussion that came afterwards about me saying "how could i put u on a set?" and so i posted to see if there was any legitamacy to my statement. Seems i was pretty much wrong but oh well T_T. Just wanted some other opinions ;o

I don't think there was a way you could have put me on a set. I played the hand very timidly due to the other sets I had made and played aggressively today (all of which were folded to me by the turn =( ) and I wanted to try something new. As such, I waited for the river to make any real move. I understand this is counter productive as the pot will not be big enough to justify a call later on but as I said, the flop kind of freaked me out. I think what my bet was intended for was as Pacifist said, a gross overbet I assumed no one could call cause I figured the hand was over at that point. You'd be surprised how many people call river all ins more than a value bet at this limit.

You're never gonna be able to put him on a hand unless you show a little agression to find out where he stands, so of course you have no idea what he has by the time the river comes.
