why call flop if you're gonna fold turn to a 1/2 pot bet?

yeah, definitely when the turn is a complete blank. either fold flop or at least call turn.

I don't know! I post my stupidly played hands mostly, that's why this one is here.

I guess I was hoping he was just bluff raising and would give up after I called.

so what was your plan when he bet again?

The plan was to fold if he bet again, which I did. The guy had an AF of 1.25 (77 hands) so I gave him credit for a set / 2 pair. Calling flop in that case was spewy I guess, but 1) I could improve, 2) he could be bluff raising, 3) I know about the metagame.

Still badly played. Against a passive otherwise-bad player, would you stack off here?
