- Only 24 hands against this guy, so not enough history to speak of. This worked out for me, but I think I played it all wrong. At the same time, I just didnt feel he was strong and I didnt think he knew how strong I was . I went with the min-raise on the flop to attempt to just end the hand there, if that makes any sense. I just thought he wouldve bet into me on the turn if he actually hit his flush .

this guy is a donk
he knows nothing about how strong/weak you are
he is a donk and you have the nuts vs. a donk
raise flop 6.75-7.75
call all your friends and tell them you stacked a donk |

Yea again against half stacks when you have big hands you need to not nitpick as much over little details. Half stacks are usually retarded and getting in vs them doesn't cost a ton of money so it's best to just stack off with strong hands whenever possible.
I would raise a little more here and leave him with around 5 bucks on the turn. When you raise and he calls you are planning on getting it in on ANY turn.. regardless of how scary it is... esp when he only has 5 bucks left (or 6.75 in this case). Don't over think this one, just get him in. |
