pre good
flop just call, raising is bad because the only hands that call you are hands that beat you (Tx and better). sometimes you'll get a call from JQ or something, sometimes 8x (but since you have two 8's already, theres a smaller chance he has a hand that has an 8), but for the most part his bet/calling range will have you beat. i would just call and try to get to sd unless i make a straight.
turn after you raise i would just check behind, youre turning your hand into a complete bluff now, and if he c/rs you it's bad because you now have to a fold a hand that could have 8 clean outs (OESD). there's no value in betting turn, and betting turn as a bluff isn't good, so check. |
